Have your first snorkeling stop at the sunken ship, the remains of the USS Harlequin, dating back to the Second World War. Acquired by the Mexican Marines, the vessel was used for marine studies before being eventually sunk in 2000 to create an artificial reef.
Next, make your second stop at the magnificent coral reefs along the Great Mayan Reef Barrier. This incredible site is part of the second-largest coral barrier in the world. Enjoy interacting with colorful fish and other marine life in their natural habitat, and swim around the sculptures of the 3rd section of the Underwater museum.
This is a tour for people who do not have a lot of time, or do not want to take a full-day tour, to snorkel for a couple of hours, those who love the ocean, and those who have been around many times, and want to focus on snorkeling. Water is included throughout the whole excursion.
